Following the success of the ‘70th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, 9 May 1950’ exhibition, launched in May 2020 by Europeana and the European Parliament Archives, we are pleased to announce a partnership which will see the Archives unit curate around 20 exhibitions over the next four years for publication on the Europeana website.
The Fifties in Europe Kaleidoscope is a Europeana Generic Service Project funded under CEF Telecom Programme. Starting in September 2018, the project aimed to leverage photographic content in Europeana on the topic of the 1950s in Europe and developed experimental approaches to digital photographic heritage to support engagement. In this post we explore some of the activities the project has delivered.
