We are happy to announce the results of the 2021 Europeana Network Association (ENA) Members Council elections. Of the 73 candidates who came forward in this year’s elections, our Network Members chose 27 of them to fill the open seats in the Members Council. Read on to meet the Councillors!
As we continue our focus on stories, projects and collections which highlight Black history in Europe and beyond, we interview Jessica de Abreu, co-founder of The Black Archives Amsterdam, and production assistant Camille Parker. They tell us about the Archive’s work and approach to digitisation and reflect on the importance of making Black history visible.

This October, as part of Black History Month, Europeana is sharing stories, projects and collections to highlight Black history in Europe and beyond. Today, Dr. Jeff Bowersox tells us about the work of Black Central Europe to open new perspectives on diverse histories in Germany and explore Black history within Europe.
This year, the Europeana website blog has increasingly shared stories from physical exhibitions across Europe. We hear about the experiences of organisations who have published on Europeana's blog and its role in bringing their content to wider audiences.
