Seeking to address one of the principles of the Enrichments Policy for the common European data space for cultural heritage, the Europeana Foundation R&D team has created a first version of a methodology for evaluating and validating the results of (automatic) enrichment efforts.
The enrichments policy supports purposeful enrichment efforts that contribute to the objectives of the common European data space for cultural heritage.
In March 2023, the Europeana Foundation and partners invited anyone interested in enrichments to answer a survey. Read our report about the insights gained through the answers received, and the next steps for developing a policy on enrichments.
The Europeana Foundation, together with partners, has been conducting activities to enrich digital cultural heritage collections. We are working to define an enrichments policy that sets a vision and brings consistency across enrichment efforts in the data space.
