Georgia is Europeana’s Editorial and PR Officer and Editor in Chief of the Pro blog. In her role she contributes to Europeana’s communications strategy and activities, and manages the planning, commissioning and editing of the Pro blog content. Before working at Europeana, Georgia worked in the higher education sector in the UK. She has a BA degree in English Language and Literature, and an MA in Early Modern Studies. When not in the office, Georgia will be found reading or trying to improve her Dutch!

As 2022 celebrates the European Year of Youth, we are highlighting resources, networks and organisations within the cultural heritage sector which support students and new professionals. Today, we hear about the New Professionals Programme run by the International Council on Archives (ICA).
In October, we were delighted that our partnership with the global library cooperative OCLC came to fruition by making millions of cultural heritage items from Europeana available through the database WorldCat. We speak to Tim Martin, Director of Business Development and Publisher Relations at OCLC, to find out more.
