Oral testimonies can be an important way to understand historical events. They have been the focus of the research project, ‘Memories of Occupation in Greece’, which brought together a number of oral testimonies into a digital collection. In this post, Agiatis Benardou interviews historian Anna-Maria Droumbouki about the project.
This collection has been digitised within the context of the Europeana Newspapers project. It includes titles of newspapers and magazines in the Serbian language during World War One.
Collection of 2,470 images of Greek manuscripts which includes not only texts and illuminated manuscripts from the Byzantine empire and Renaissance Italy, but also an important accumulation of papyri from the ancient world.
