The Europeana Initiative is at the heart of the common European data space for cultural heritage. As of September 2022, together with our partners we have started turning the data space into a reality and we are excited to share what’s in store for the next year.
We are delighted that in the coming years, Europeana will be at the heart of the European Commission’s data space for cultural heritage, continuing our work together with 18 partners and a great network, to empower the cultural heritage sector in its digital transformation.
As we move into the summer, Harry Verwayen, General Director of the Europeana Foundation, looks forward to Europeana's plans for the coming months and the topics in focus for the cultural heritage sector.
