The first Europeana website launched 15 years ago today, a milestone that has led to many more in the Europeana Initiative’s work to empower the digital transformation of the cultural heritage sector. The Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek (German Digital Library) recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and the launch of its new user-oriented portal. The Europeana Initiative was there to commemorate the occasion.
