Under Twin it!, the Ministries of Culture of the European Union Member States are invited to liaise with their national cultural institutions to submit one 3D digitised heritage asset to the common European data space for cultural heritage, deployed by the Europeana Initiative.
The 3D in Cultural Heritage event is part of the training and capacity building programme of the EUreka3D project. It is organised by the EUreka3D project.
On 18 April 2023, the Europeana conference under the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU will take place, focusing on 'Accelerating 3D in the common European data space for cultural heritage: Why 3D matters.' Ahead of the conference, we highlight a key EU-funded study on quality in 3D digitisation of tangible cultural heritage.

5DCulture aims to enrich the offer of 3D digital cultural heritage assets in the data space and foster their reuse in domains such as education, tourism and the wider cultural and creative sector.
