Do you work, in, with or around the cultural heritage sector? Are you interested in the preservation, protection and reuse of digital cultural heritage or in how you can connect with and benefit from the common European data space for cultural heritage? Then Europeana 2025 - Preserve, Protect, Reuse - is for you. Organised in collaboration and partnership with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, the National Institute of Cultural Heritage and the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Europeana 2025 offers a fantastic opportunity to meet with, learn from and work with your peers and hear the latest developments in the digital cultural heritage ecosystem.

Following the preview of our plans for Europeana 2025 last week, we are now delighted to share the full conference programme. Read on to discover how to access it and plan your conference experience onsite or offline.

What are the programme highlights?

In total, Europeana 2025 offers over 70 different sessions to attend, from talks to panel discussions, workshops to social moments. Picking highlights is an undoubted challenge, but not to be missed are the keynotes from Birgitte Aga, Dr. Julia Noordegraaf and Jakub Wróblewski; insights from high-level policymakers at the Policy Forum; a session dedicated to supporting you to find funding in the sector; and of course, the silent disco! We are also particularly excited about the onsite, hands-on workshops on detecting bias using AI, 3D tools, Europeana academy, participatory approaches, ARK persistent identifiers and more.

Where can I see the full programme?

The full programme for Europeana 2025 is available on our conference platform, Zoho Backstage. It can be explored through both the onsite and online programme links, which offer a complete overview of the conference, speakers and different sessions across the two days. You don’t need to buy a ticket to view and browse the programme - but you will want to once you’ve explored it!

How can I plan my conference?

Once you’ve booked your onsite or online ticket to the conference, you will receive a link that lets you log in to Zoho Backstage. Through this link, you can bookmark sessions and even add them to your calendar to build your own personalised conference programme. You can do this through your computer but also with the mobile App, so that you can check your sessions on the go! Some sessions will sell out so book yours as soon as possible.

If you are joining online, on the day of the event you can log in via the link to navigate to the agenda and join the sessions live. Through the programme, you can also join live polls, chat with speakers and attendees, watch videos and enjoy online networking options.
