Marijke was born in Ghana and grew up in Senegal and Italy. She joined Europeana in 2016. Her focus is coordinating campaigns. She has a background in Fine Arts and spent a year exhibiting art around The Netherlands with one international exhibition in Finland which she is quite proud of. When she is not in the office, she is working on her own art projects.
