Ida Nordlander
I am a cultural heritage and museum professional with a BA in Museum and Heritage Studies, currently completing a master’s in Digital Humanities. I am actively involved in a research project that investigates how linked open data can enhance accessibility for researchers and other users, as well as how this methodology can be applied by other institutions. Previously, I participated in a similar project that also focused on linked data practices. My work aims to contribute to the ongoing dialogue about the role of digital technologies in cultural heritage preservation and engagement.
MC candidate manifesto:
Museum, Research, Linked Open Data, Digital Transformation, User Engagement
I believe I can enhance understanding of how linked open data and digital storytelling methodologies can make cultural heritage more accessible. Through my studies and work, I’ve explored how these technologies can broaden audience reach.
As a champion, I would contribute to Europeana's work by serving as a local hub of expertise in linked open data. Leveraging my experience with platforms, standardized vocabularies, and open-source tools, I aim to connect local efforts to a broader European context.
