I am a Professional Archaeologist and Freelance Historical Writer for publishing houses in Greece. I hold a B.A. in History and Archaeology and an M.A. in Classical Archaeology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where I am also pursuing my Ph.D. I have served as an Excavation Supervisor at Vergina and worked on archaeological projects across Greece for the Hellenic Ministry of Culture. I specialize in archaeological digitization and documentation. I am also a member of Europa Nostra, ESACH, the Europeana Network Association, and other cultural heritage organizations.
MC candidate manifesto:
History, Cultural Commons, Cultural Heritage
My professional background, which spans classical archaeology, digital documentation, and the management of archaeological data, equips me to contribute meaningfully to the common European data space for cultural heritage, especially in the areas of digitization, preservation, and accessibility.
As a regional ambassador in Greece, I will advocate for the digitization of cultural heritage through Europeana. By collaborating with museums, archives, and universities, I will raise awareness of the European data space, encouraging the preservation and accessibility of our shared heritage.
