As part of the Europeana 2019 Conference, a dedicated session discussed ways to improve inclusivity and diversity in the Europeana Network Association, and how best to pursue meaningful and sustainable action in this area. The advent of 3D technology is bringing new opportunities for the cultural heritage sector, offering innovative ways to provide access to heritage for education, tourism, research and enjoyment. A Europeana Network Association task force on 3D content has been exploring the topic of 3D in Europeana, and in this post, task force leader Kate Fernie shares the results of the year long project and the recent task force report.
