Its beauty is twofold: much of it has never been shared outside of a family or personal context, and now, being seen publicly for the first time, it can be marshalled into categories and mined for research.

Like historic newspapers, parliamentary papers provide a fertile hunting ground for scholars from all kinds of disciplinary angles. The nature of the questions, laws and debates recorded in such papers structure so much of a country's life - they are an obvious source to explore to understand a nation.

This collection contains about 1700 titles in about 10.000 volumes. It presents the printed production of Bulgarian writers from the National Revival in 18th and 19th centuries. The major part of the collection is liturgical and educational books, translated and original fiction.
