Zachos Polyviou is the head of Digital Culture & New Technologies Unit at the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus. Among other digital infrastructures, he is in charge of the Cyprus National Aggregator to Europeana. Since 2007, he has been involved in projects related to digital services in cultural sector, from which he managed to lead a series of Europeana projects conducted in Cyprus. He is a member of the Cyprus National Committee for Digital Cultural heritage and also a member of the Commission Expert Group on the common European Data Space for Cultural Heritage.
