Sebastian Majstorovic

Sebastian Majstorovic works a Data Consultant and Digital Historian. As a Data Consultant he specializes in curating open datasets for the open source AI community. As a Digital Historian he consults historical research projects on digital strategy, digital research infrastructure, and data visualisation. Recently, Sebastian has co-authored Common Pile, the largest open training dataset for large-language models for the open source AI research institute EleutherAI. He is a Digital History Advisor for the ERC Project "CAPASIA: The Asian Origins of Global Capitalism", which is hosted by the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Sebastian has co-founded the volunteer data rescue initiatives Data Rescue Project and Saving Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Online (SUCHO).
