
Pedro Ortega Ventureira (Madrid, Spain) is an Industrial Engineer, PhD in Art History, Master in Digital Publishing, and Expert in Technologies Applied to Cultural Heritage. He currently serves as Technical Advisor for the Department of Culture, Tourism, and Sports at Madrid City Council.
He has worked as a World Heritage Manager for four years, overseeing the Paisaje de la Luz UNESCO designation in the city of Madrid.
Pedro is a prominent communicator in the fields of Digital Heritage and Digital Humanities. Through his newsletter, Expertos en Patrimonio Digital, he publishes a biweekly interview with a professional in the sector. He is also the coordinator of the printed magazine Humanismo Digital by Jot Down and has recently launched the lecture series Humanities in the Age of AI: New Professions in the 21st Century at the San Fermín Library in Madrid.
Additionally, he is a member of the inter-university research group Madrid Real y Cortesano. He is open to collaborations with ENA members to promote European Digital Cultural Heritage.
