Paolo Villa is postdoc researcher at the University of Pavia. He completed his PhD in film studies at the University of Udine. He worked in Udine on the project ViCTOR-E in Udine for two years, and now teaches history of photography. His research focuses on documentary cinema, film and the visual arts, postwar visual culture.
