Associate Professor Dr. Ines Vodopivec is deeply committed to advancing digitization theory and practice within heritage institutions on an international scale. Her notable roles include serving as Deputy Director of the National and University Library of Slovenia, being a dedicated member of the UNESCO Memory of the World National Committee, and participating as a member of the IFLA Digital Humanities – Digital Scholarship Committee; Member of the DARIAH Research Data Management Working Group and Member of the RDA Node Slovenia.

More recently, she assumed the role of Secretary General of AI4LAM (Artificial Intelligence for Libraries, Archives, and Museums), further solidifying her leadership and influence in the fields of digital heritage and innovative methodologies. Ines also holds the position of Vice Dean at Nova University’s Faculty of Slovenian and International Studies, where she serves as a distinguished University Professor specializing in Interdisciplinary Methodology and Digital Humanities.

In 2024, Dr. Vodopivec was a Management Board Member of the Europeana Network Association, member of the Country Groups pilot project and the Innovative Operating Models Working Group. She is also a member of the Research Community Steering Group.
