My name is Frank Postma. I was born in 1959 in the eastern part of the Netherlands. After studying chemistry, I was active as a chemistry and biology teacher. Since 2011, I have been active as a hobby archaeologist. I am involved in registering finds in Portable Antiquities of the Netherlands, which is a national database similar to the British Portable Antiquities Scheme. Part of my voluntary work is registering finds from shipwrecks. When archaeology students showed me how they made 3D models of the finds, I immediately saw the enormous potential of this method. So these days, I am busy making 3D models of many fantastic finds.
