EuroClio

This partnership with EuroClio focuses on publishing digital learning resources with Europeana content on Historiana and raising awareness in their network of history teachers across Europe about using Europeana as an educational resource.

Using openly licensed Europeana content, EuroClio delivers transnational source collections on topics commonly taught in Europe and which reflect diversity in a given content area. They also work on case studies and actions that can be used by cultural heritage institutions to help make their material suitable for education.

Euroclio has also worked to update the Teaching Training Package (developed in Europeana DSI-3) to create a new challenge for use in initial teacher training and continued professional development for history educators. Through these challenges, history educators are asked to develop eLearning activities with the source collections from Europeana that are ultimately included in the Historiana platform.
