The Members Council convincingly recreate Christ in the Realm of the Dead, Joakim Skovgaard, Statens Museum for Kunst
A springlike Copenhagen and the Statens Museum for Kunst played host to the first Europeana Members Council meeting in 2016. This meeting was particularly exciting for us as it was a chance to celebrate the Europeana Network Association’s first anniversary and get to know our newly elected colleagues.
As part of EuropeanaTech, The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision has worked extensively to raise the awareness of open source tools that exist for digital cultural heritage and digital humanities developers.
We export data from databases such as library catalogues, institutional repositories, web services, relational and nosql databases and data dumps (such as MARC, XML, RDF, JSON, YAML).
EEXCESS develops open source software for enriching web channels like websites or social networks with cultural heritage and scholarly content. It consists of several sub-projects that together offer a privacy-preserving, personalised recommendation service for cultural heritage and scholarly content.
The Europeana Data Model (EDM) recently turned five! To celebrate it, Europeana organised a special workshop just before the Europeana General Assembly, gathering 30 experts that have significantly contributed to the development of the model.
