The presentation will demonstrate that for usability and practicality, some of the well-accepted tenets around LOD could be hindrances to progress, and that using multi-modal solutions with both graph and document search paradigms provides a cost-effective and scalable solution without loss of semantic fidelity while increasing reusability. These lessons learned cover the topics of usability of the data, semantic modeling choices and appropriate technical solutions.
