In the lead-up to the ENDORSE 2025 Conference, a series of talks in spring 2025 will set the stage for exploring the transformative role of AI and semantic technologies in common European data spaces.

These talks will delve into the application of data spaces across key domains such as Health, Procurement, Culture and Legal, emphasising the foundational role of EU Vocabularies, tools like VocBench, ShowVoc, SEMIC standards such as DCAT-AP, Linked Data Event Streams, and the SEMIC Style Guide. The sessions will also highlight the Data Spaces Support Centre's contributions, including blueprints, modelling assistance, and cost-effective solutions, alongside the technical infrastructure (SIMPL) enabling interoperability. This pre-conference initiative will offer valuable insights into the current status and future developments of Data Spaces, paving the way for deeper discussions at ENDORSE 2025.

The first session of the warm-up events will take place on 4 April (10.00-11.30). Expert speakers from DG CNECT, DG SANTE, DG GROW, OP and the Europeana Foundation will share insights into:

  • The vision and strategic importance of European Data Spaces
  • Real-world applications and sector-specific impacts
  • How AI and semantic interoperability technologies are driving innovation

Featured Speakers:

  • Coen Janssen (DG CNECT)
  • Žilvinas Bubnys (OP)
  • Natalia Zylinska Puta (DG SANTE)
  • Marc Christopher Schmidt (DG GROW)
  • Antoine Isaac (Europeana Foundation)
