This informal gathering is open everyone who wants to connect, reflect, and engage in conversation about sustainability, climate action and digital practices - you do not have to be Community member to attend.
This Café will offer a chance to meet the members of the Climate Action Community Steering Group and to learn more about the work thy are preparing for this year. The Steering Group will also share selected insights from the upcoming Community report, developed by the Task Force on Environmentally Sustainable Practices in digital cultural heritage authored by Joanna Murzyn. The report explores how the cultural heritage sector can make informed, climate-conscious decisions about digital strategies, from digitisation to data storage and preservation, and will offer practical recommendations to implement digital sustainability in cultural institutions across Europe.
But most importantly, the Café is intended to be an open, welcoming space for dialogue. The Steering Group want to hear from you: your thoughts, your challenges, your ideas, and your hopes for this community. Whether you’re an active member or just curious to learn more, this is the perfect occasion to get involved, share your perspective and help shape the direction of the Climate Action Community.
Let’s take this moment to reconnect, inspire each other, and build stronger, more climate-resilient practices together.
