Archaeology & Technology
The forthcoming workshop, aptly titled "Archaeology and Technology," is set to unveil the groundbreaking, most recent outcomes of the RePAIR (Reconstructing the Past: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Meets Cultural Heritage) Project, which receives funding under the prestigious Horizon 2020 framework.
In addition to the central RePAIR findings, the event will feature presentations on two other EU-funded, cutting-edge research endeavours focused on cultural heritage:
DIGITALIA: Dedicated to developing Digital solutions for sustainable and disaster-resilient heritage management.
NERITES: Focused on the Systematic autonomous remote surveying of underwater cultural heritage monuments and artifacts using non-destructive, cost-effective, and transportable digital solutions.
Furthermore, attendees will be exposed to several complementary research initiatives currently underway at the Archaeological Park, ensuring a comprehensive overview of the integration of advanced technology within the field.
