Manuscript material reflecting the history of Serbia in World War I

This collection of digital items provides particularly valuable letters, postcards and unpublished memoirs from World War One. Furthermore, the collection features the original minutes of the meetings of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Serbia, held during the war.

These materials reflect the particular position of the Kingdom of Serbia during the war. They are of great importance for the study of social history and provide an understanding of people's daily lives in the war and the processes that changed European and Serbian society.

The National Library of Serbia as a partner of the project "Europeana Collections 1914-1918" has launched its digital library Veliki rat (Great War) with valuable collections from the First World War period.
